The Market Sampler Bag is an idea that originated in our Farmers Market Committee in Summer 2021. Proposed by a committee member who wanted to offer something to the new-to-market shopper these bags have now become a favorite of both new customers and frequent shoppers.
Customers purchase their Market Sampler Bag at the Info Table from our Market Manager for $25 cash and in return they receive a card and market map that shows them where they can go to pick up their items along with a reusable shopping bag to hold all of their products. All Market Sampler Bags are a minimum value of $25 but are often worth more!
Many of our participating vendors offer a choice of products such as H&H Bakery offering your choice of bagel flavor, or River Creek Farm with a choice of scent from their line of goat milk soaps. One item we try to feature in every bag is fresh flowers because who doesn't love a gorgeous and colorful fresh floral bouquet? Our participating floral vendors will have special Market Sampler Bouquets set aside, ready and waiting for you after you purchase your bag.
Other popular Market Sampler Bag items from last summer included honey from our long-time local honey vendor Sweetwater Honey, farm fresh eggs from vendors such as Unvarnished Farm, and Recipe Bundles from Second Chance Farm that are sure to get your culinary creativity going!

During the 2022 Summer Market Season Market Sampler Bags will be offered on a bi-weekly basis opposite our music schedule. Participating vendors will rotate throughout the summer and will always be announced on our social media channels the week before we offer a Market Sampler Bag. In the weeks they are sold only five bags are available so interested customers are strongly encouraged to arrive early to the market for their best chance of getting one of these highly sought after bags.
