There's no better place to spend your Saturday mornings than at the Madison Farmers Market!

The Madison Farmers Market is celebrating one year of being under the Madison Main Street Program Management. This 100% producer-only, year-round market is a true destination point for visitors to Madison. With its history dating back to the cities founding in 1809, the Madison Farmers Market is the oldest Farmers Market in the state of Indiana. While its location has changed from time to time, the Madison Farmers Market can now be found around the Broadway Fountain every Saturday morning.

May 7 marks the first day of the Summer Market season. Year-round customers will notice slight changes to the market including a change to the market layout. While Winter Market occupies only the southbound lane of Broadway, Summer Market vendors can be found on both the northbound and southbound lanes of Broadway between Main Street and Third Street.

Additional changes included extended hours with the market opening at 8 am and closing at 12 pm and the return of consistent bi-weekly Market Musicians. Customers will be pleased to hear from local favorites Joel Curtis, Charlsee Gandee, Tradesmen Duo, and the Bee Camp Bottom Boys. Additionally, we welcome new Market Musicians Cheryl Liz and Stick & Bindle. There will be something for everyone in this summer's music lineup.

Be on the lookout for more information from us including vendor and product spotlights and information about events taking place at the Madison Farmers Market.
