Vendors are fully outdoors during the Summer Market months. You can find vendors on both sides of  Broadway between Main St. and 3rd Street.

What are the hours for Summer Market?

Summer Market is open from 8 am - 12 pm every Saturday, rain or shine. We will occasionally close if weather is severe or if the conditions are not safe for us to open. Closures will always be shared on our social media pages so we encourage all customers to follow us on Facebook and Instagram

What types of products will I find at Summer Market?

Summer Market is known for a bounty of fresh produce and flowers! As a 100% producer-only market you will find certain fruits and veggies as they come into season in this area only.

We will continue to have items such as freshly baked goods, locally raised beef, pork, chicken, lamb, goat, farm fresh eggs, handmade home decor, jewelry and fiber arts, goat milk products including soaps, chapstick, lip balm, and beard oils, a large variety of plant starts, fresh and dried flowers and more!

We encourage you to speak with our vendors about what produce is coming into season and what new items they will be bringing to market as the temperatures change.

Current In-Season Produce will be updated here throughout the season.

How can I find out who will be attending as a vendor every week?

Follow our social media pages for a weekly market preview including a list of attending vendors and products you will be able to find at our market. This preview is shared on both our Instagram and Facebook pages.

Can I apply to be a vendor?

Yes! We accept applications on a rolling basis until we are full. We recommend that if you are interested in applying that you reach out to our Market Manager first to learn more about our market and for us to get to know you and your business better. We are currently accepting applications for our Summer Market.  Interested vendors can apply by visiting our application.  All vendors should familiarize themselves with our 2023 Handbook as all vendors agree to follow this document if accepted as a vendor with our market.

Are there opportunities to volunteer with the Madison Farmers Market?

Yes! We are always seeking volunteers for the Madison Farmers Market and have opportunities to serve available year-round. We appreciate our volunteers so much and could not do what we do without them.

Volunteers are needed for the set-up and tear-down of the market. Volunteers assist the Market Manager in setting up barricades to safely secure the street during the closure as well as any needed signage for the market. They may also assist with the setup of our Market Info Table and help to staff the table if needed. At the end of the market, volunteers assist the Market Manager with collecting any items that were set up and moving them to storage so they are ready for the following week.

If you are interested in volunteering with the Madison Farmers Market please visit our signup page or email our Market Manager.

Can I drive up to the vendor's booths to pick up my items?

No - Both sides of Broadway between Main St. and 3rd St. are closed on Saturdays from 7:00 am - 1:00 pm to allow us to safely set up, hold, and tear down the market.

The street is closed to all vehicles during market hours and is open for pedestrian traffic only. This means that golf carts and other motorized vehicles are not permitted within the market space during these times. For the safety of all those in attendance, we will ask anyone violating this to remove their golf cart or vehicle from the market space immediately.  Vehicles left within the street closure will be towed at the owner's expense.

We kindly ask that you leave them at home or remove them from the market space for the safety and comfort of all those within the market. Owners are expected to take responsibility for their pets including cleaning up after them.

Are informational booths permitted?

No - Informational Booths are not permitted at our market per our handbook. From time to time our market may partner with local organizations for events. Interested groups should contact our Market Manager.
