Madison Main Street Program is powered by an active and working board of 11, 100+ unique volunteers, 5 committee chairs, 30+ unique sponsors, 200+ downtown businesses, 1 Executive Director, 1 Farmers Market Manager, and now 1 Executive Assistant!
During the first week of March, MMSP hired an Executive Assistant, Jessica Barnes. As the in this role, Jessica will maintain office hours from 9 AM-2 PM from Tuesday-Friday. Jessica has worked in downtown Madison and is excited to take this next step to further support and work with local businesses and MMSP staff!
With the recent addition of an Executive Assistant, Madison Main Street Program is now a staff of 3! As a 501(c)3 we are very proud of this accomplishment. Executive Director, Austin Sims, has held her position with the organization for over 2 years. Since working as the Executive Director, Sims and MMSP board have together hired 2 staff members to further propel the organization and manage projects. Sims and MMSP board hired Gina Johnson as the Farmers Market Manager in May of 2021. Gina is a natural leader and has the passion and enthusiasm needed to connect with and support vendors and customers of the Madison Farmers Market.
